Though Drabblecast.org has launched, you may continue to work for as long as it takes to finish. Holder art will retain the spot indefinitely. If an item is still listed on this site, it is still available to new claims. Thanks, been going great!

As we transition to the next iteration of the Drabblecast web site, cover art will take on an added importance. Regrettably, before Drabblecast #133 the cover art standard was not in place. In light of this fact we're running the Drabblecast Art Reclamation Project (DARP), to lend appropriate polish to our legacy episodes.

The DARP will take a village. Any and all are welcome to participate: new listeners, old listeners, friends of fans, complete newbs who found this page via the hairiest of googling.

Work is volunteer, though someday we do hope to establish a pay rate. The benefits you say? Well, besides the practice, and the joy of expression, a credit on the Drabblecast is a good source of 'Google Juice' IE a means of raising your online profile, getting clicks for that art blog or online portfolio languishing in partial to complete obscurity. This effect will only increase with Drabblecast.org's next incarnation.

This sub-site does not concern the Drabblecast Reclamation of Information Project. More information about that project, which regards volunteer writers and episode synopisises, can be found at bokaier.com/drip/

Participation

Listed below is current DARP status, by episode number, title, and assigned artist. Please inquire about episodes by name. Contact drabblecast@yahoo.com, attention Bo Kaier, dibs will be called for you, and this page will be updated accordingly.

Art should be delivered at 800 x 800 px, 72 dpi (screen resolution), JPG or PNG format. If you do not already possess the photoshop episode art template, the zip can be downloaded here (the b-side version here). If you are creating art in another format or don't have photoshop, let me know, I can add the logo and title to your cover upon submission. Many Drabblecast artists use GIMP, a free alternative to Photoshop with similar functionality.
